For most children, a trip to the dentist can be nerve-wracking. For children with special needs, it can be overwhelming. Dr. Maren Pratt’s vision for Greentree Pediatric Dentistry was clear: Create a practice designed specifically for children who need more patience, more understanding, and more predictability.
That experience couldn’t start at the front desk. It had to start before the first visit. The brand and website needed to do more than inform, they needed to reduce anxiety, build trust, and make the unfamiliar feel safe.
For many of these young patients, fear comes from the unknown: New environments. New sounds. New people.
So we asked a simple question: What if the website could make the first visit feel familiar?
We partnered with Dr. Pratt to build a brand and digital experience rooted in empathy—designed not just for parents, but for the young patients.
Every element was intentional:
This wasn’t about standing out. It was about helping families feel at ease.
The website became an extension of the in-office experience. Instead of focusing solely on services, we focused on what a child would see, feel, and experience.
We conducted a custom photo to capture the environment from a patient’s perspective:
These were more than design elements, they were reassurance tools.
By showing children exactly what to expect, we helped remove one of the biggest sources of anxiety: uncertainty.
To deepen that sense of trust, we included a childhood photo of Dr. Pratt herself at the dentist.A simple but powerful signal: She understands what it feels like.
That connection helped bridge the gap between provider and patient, making the experience feel more personal, more relatable, and more human.
The final brand and website created something rare: a digital experience designed not just for usability, but for emotional impact.
For families, Greentree Pediatric Dentistry doesn’t feel like a typical dental office. It feels prepared. Thoughtful. Safe. Because when a child walks through the door already knowing what to expect, the experience shifts from fear to familiarity, and from anxiety to trust.
Sometimes the most important part of the experience happens before it even begins.
